Marthe Krummenacher & Nicolas Masson
Beyond choreographic work or composition, beyond creating a performance designed for an audience, the approach of the two artists questions the inspiration, the mystery of success or failure of an artistic collaboration whose core is improvisation.

Oud Salon
Enter the exquisite world of handmade musical instruments. Documenting this process is an absolute privilege and responsibility. I am grateful for the honor of witnessing this incredible labor of love and dedication. This short film is my first attempt to tell a story of an oud maker. This started as a curiosity upon entering Muhammad Al-Adeeb’s oud workshop in Amsterdam and quickly turned into an insightful account of his masterful approach and work. This is a start, a first chapter. After filming, editing, coloring ang learning, I had many more questions and wished to continue telling the story of this creative profession and current life of a simple and magical wooden instrument first discovered five thousand years ago in northern Syria and Iraq. An enchanting first tryout experience that turned out completely addictive.

Tarek Hmesy Live Session
This film was shot quickly and spontaneously in the home of oud maker Muhammad Al-Adeeb.
Coming after two full days of filming about the oud industry and Al-Adeeb’s project, the Oud Salon, the spontaneity of the situation made this film very beautiful, in my opinion. Special mention to the undoubted star of the film, Bobby.

This piece is titled "Leafy Autumn Musings". Created by Wenqi Gu in October 2023, it captures the quiet bliss of colorful forests and the beauty of falling leaves. Like whispers from the nature, each note takes the listener through songs of the changing seasons and the fleeting time. It gently awakens our memories, glimpses of the past stirring thoughts in the rhythm of autumn breeze. Guzheng, a zither, is a traditional Chinese musical instrument with a 2500-year history. Wenqi Gu, born in Shanghai, China, is a guzheng virtuoso committed to promoting Chinese music globally. A graduate of Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Wenqi Gu tours internationally and is currently pursuing her second master's degree in ethnomusicology at the HEM Geneva, Switzerland.
